DAY 444: Rum 11-18

•  It is Allah Who originates the creation, and will resurrect it. And then to Him you will ˹all˺ be returned. On the day when the Hour (Qiyāmah : the Day of Judgement)) will take place, the guilty will be taken aback in grief and despair. They will have no intercessors from among their (so-called) ‘partners of Allah’, and they themselves will reject their (such) ‘partners’. And on the Day the Hour will arrive, the people will then be split ˹into two groups˺. As for those who believed and did good, they will be rejoicing in a Garden. And as for those who disbelieved, and denied Our signs and the meeting ˹with Allah˺ in the Hereafter, they will be confined in punishment. So glorify Allah in the evening and in the morning— all praise is for Him in the heavens and the earth—as well as in the afternoon, and at noon.

  While the first ten verses used a contemporary geopolitical event (the Roman-Persian war) to illustrate divine control over history, verses 11-18 zoom out to the grandest scale: the beginning and end of all creation, the individual's journey from life to death to resurrection, and the proper response of worship.
  The Argument from Creation: The most powerful argument for the Hereafter is the very act of creation itself. If Allah can originate life from nothing, He can surely re-create it after death. The resurrection is not a new creation but a "repetition" of His established pattern.
  The Bankruptcy of Polytheism: On the Day of Judgment, all false gods will abandon their worshippers. The entire framework of shirk (associating partners with God) collapses, leaving its adherents in utter despair and with no intercessors.
  The Great Separation: The Hour is the moment of ultimate differentiation. Worldly alliances and statuses will be meaningless. The only dividing line that matters is iman (faith) and righteous deeds versus disbelief and denial of the Hereafter.
  Worship as the Acknowledgment of Reality: The section concludes by prescribing the five daily prayers as a practical, constant, and necessary act for believers. This regular glorification of Allah serves as an antidote to the forgetfulness and arrogance that leads to denial of the Hereafter. It is a conscious, living acknowledgment that Allah is the Originator, the Re-creator, and the ultimate Master of the Day of Judgment.
  
  Verses 11-18 shift from geopolitics to the ultimate reality that Allah alone originates and repeats creation, making the despair of polytheists on Judgment Day inevitable while prescribing continuous worship as the believer's conscious acknowledgment of His absolute sovereignty.
