DAY 53: Duha 1-11

•  By the morning sunlight, and the night when it falls still! your Lord  has neither forsaken you, nor has become displeased. And the next life is certainly far better for you than this one. And ˹surely˺ your Lord will give so much to you that you will be pleased. Did He not find you as an orphan then sheltered you? Did He not find you unguided then guided you? And did He not find you needy then satisfied your needs? So do not oppress the orphan, nor repulse the beggar (anyone asking for help ), And proclaim the blessings of your Lord.

  This surah is a universal message of hope, patience, and trust in Allah (cc). It speaks to anyone who has ever felt:
  
      Abandoned or forgotten during hardship.
      Doubtful of Allah’s justice or timing.
      Overwhelmed by life’s challenges.

DAY 52: Facr Summary

•      Reflect on Allah’s Signs: The natural world and historical events are filled with signs of Allah’s power and wisdom, urging us to reflect and recognize His greatness.
  
      Learn from History: The destruction of past nations serves as a warning against arrogance, oppression, and rejecting divine guidance.
  
      Gratitude and Compassion: Be grateful in times of ease, patient in hardship, and fulfill your duties toward the vulnerable, such as orphans and the poor.
  
      Avoid Materialism: Excessive love for wealth and neglect of spiritual and ethical responsibilities lead to moral failure and divine displeasure.
  
      Prepare for the Hereafter: The Day of Judgment is certain, and our eternal fate depends on our choices—either regret and punishment for the wicked or peace and Paradise for the righteous.
  
      Strive for Righteousness: Live a life of faith, gratitude, and social responsibility to achieve Allah’s pleasure and eternal success.
  

DAY 51: Facr 21-30

•  No indeed! When the earth is entirely crushed over and over, and when your Lord appears with angels, lined up in rows, and Hell is brought forth on that Day—this is when every ˹disbelieving˺ person will remember ˹their own sins˺. But what is the use of remembering then? They will cry, “I wish I had sent forth ˹something good˺ for my ˹true˺ life.” On that Day He will punish ˹them˺ severely, like no other, and bind ˹them˺ tightly, like no other. ˹Allah will say to the righteous,˺ “O tranquil soul! Return to your Lord, well pleased ˹with Him˺ and well pleasing ˹to Him˺. So join My servants, and enter My Paradise.”

      The Day of Judgment: These verses vividly describe the events of the Day of Judgment, including the transformation of the earth, the arrival of Allah and the angels, and the presentation of Hell.
      Regret of the Wicked: The disbelievers and wrongdoers will experience profound regret, but it will be too late for them to change their fate.

DAY 50: Facr 14-20

•  So, Your Lord is always on the watch. Now, whenever a human being is tested by their Lord through ˹His˺ generosity and blessings, he says, "My Lord has ˹deservedly˺ honored me."  But when He tests them by limiting their provision, they protest, “My Lord has ˹undeservedly˺ humiliated me!”. Absolutely not! In fact, you are not ˹even˺ gracious to the orphan, And you do not encourage one another to feed the needy. And you devour ˹others’˺ inheritance greedily, and you love wealth with a passion.
  (
      Divine Observation: Allah is fully aware of human actions and intentions, and He will hold people accountable for their deeds.
      Human Nature: People tend to be ungrateful and self-centered, attributing success to themselves and complaining during hardship.
      Moral Failings: The verses highlight specific moral failings, such as neglecting orphans, ignoring the poor, unjustly consuming inheritance, and excessive love for wealth.

DAY 49: Facr 1-13

•  By the dawn, and the ten nights, and the even and the odd, and the night when it passes! Is all this ˹not˺ a sufficient oath for those who have sense? Did you not see how your Lord dealt with Ȃd ? ˹the people˺ of Iram—with ˹their˺ great  lofty pillars, unmatched in any other land; and Thamûd who carved ˹their homes into˺ the rocks in the ˹Stone˺ Valley; and the Pharaoh of mighty structures? They all transgressed throughout the land, spreading much corruption there. So your Lord unleashed on them a scourge of punishment.

      Divine Oaths: Allah swears by natural phenomena (dawn, night, even and odd) to draw attention to His signs in the universe.

      The Path of the Righteous:
          The righteous are characterized by:
              Generosity: They give charity to purify themselves and help others.
              Fear of Allah: They are conscious of Allah in all their actions.
              Belief in the Hereafter: They trust in Allah’s promises and strive for the ultimate reward.
  
          Outcome: Allah makes their path easy, and they are granted success in this life and the Hereafter.
  
      The Path of the Wicked:
          The wicked are characterized by:
              Stinginess: They withhold wealth and refuse to help others.
              Arrogance: They consider themselves self-sufficient and deny Allah’s guidance.
              Denial of the Hereafter: They reject the concept of divine reward and punishment.
          Outcome: Their wealth is of no benefit to them, and their path leads to hardship and destruction.
  
      Allah’s Guidance and Sovereignty:
          Guidance comes from Allah alone, and He owns both this life and the Hereafter. This reminds us to seek His guidance and focus on the eternal rather than the temporary.
  
      The Reality of Hellfire:
          Hellfire is a reality for those who persistently reject the truth and turn away from Allah’s guidance. This serves as a warning to avoid arrogance, greed, and denial.
  
      The Ultimate Reward for the Righteous:
          The righteous who sincerely seek Allah’s pleasure will be satisfied with their reward in the Hereafter. This offers hope and encouragement to believers.
  

DAY 47: Leyl 17-21

•  But the righteous one will avoid it, who gives [from] his wealth to purify himself , not to return a favour to anyone, but for the sake of his Lord the Most High, so they will certainly be pleased.
  (
      They avoid Hellfire (Verse 17) through their righteousness.
  
      They give charity to purify themselves (Verse 18) and do so sincerely, seeking only Allah’s pleasure (Verses 19–20).
  
      They will be satisfied with the reward they receive from Allah in the Hereafter (Verse 21).
  
  
      Righteousness and Avoidance of Hellfire: The righteous are protected from Hellfire through their faith and good deeds.
  
      Charity and Sincerity: Giving charity is a means of purification and a way to earn Allah’s pleasure.

DAY 46: Leyl 12-16

•  It is certainly upon Us ˹alone˺ to show ˹the way to˺ guidance. And surely to Us ˹alone˺ belong this life and the next. And so I have warned you of a raging Fire, in which none will burn except the most wretched who deny and turn away.

      Allah provides guidance (Verse 12), and He owns both this life and the Hereafter (Verse 13).
  
      Hellfire is a reality for those who reject Allah’s guidance and persist in wrongdoing (Verse 14).
  
      Only the most wretched—those who deny the truth and turn away from Allah—will end up in Hellfire (Verses 15–16).
  
  
      Divine Guidance and Sovereignty: Allah is the source of all guidance and the ultimate authority over all matters.
  
      Moral Responsibility: People are responsible for their choices and will face the consequences of their actions.

DAY 45: Leyl 8-11

•  But as for he who withholds and considers himself free of need, And denies the goodness (بِالْحُسْنَى)  , We will ease him toward difficulty. And their wealth will be of no benefit to them when they tumble ˹into Hell˺.

  The Wicked:
  
      Characteristics:
  
          Withholds Wealth (بَخِلَ وَٱسْتَغْنَىٰ): They are stingy, hoarding their wealth and refusing to help others.
  
         Not Believes in the Right Thing at the Right Time in the Right Amount (ح-س-ن): Their actions are unbalanced, inappropriate, and not aligned with divine guidance, denying the ultimate good that comes from righteous actions.
  
          Considers Themselves Self-Sufficient (ٱسْتَغْنَىٰ): They are arrogant, believing they do not need Allah or His guidance.
  
      Outcome:
  
          Allah Makes Their Path Hard (سَنُيَسِّرُهُۥ لِلْعُسْرَىٰ): Allah facilitates their journey toward hardship, difficulty, and failure.
  
          Wealth is of No Benefit (وَمَا يُغْنِى عَنْهُ مَالُهُۥٓ إِذَا تَرَدَّىٰ): Their material possessions cannot save them from the consequences of their actions, especially in the Hereafter.
  
          Ultimate Loss: They face destruction and misery, both in this life and the next.
  
  
  
  The Righteous:
  
      Characteristics:
  
          Believes in Allah (ٱلْحُسْنَىٰ): They have faith in Allah and trust in His promises, including the ultimate reward (Paradise and His pleasure).
  
          Gives to Charity (يُؤْتِي مَالَهُ يَتَزَكَّىٰ): They are generous, using their wealth to purify themselves and help others.
  
          Fears Allah (يَخْشَىٰ): They are conscious of Allah in all their actions, striving to avoid sin and fulfill their obligations.
  
          Believes in the Right Thing at the Right Time in the Right Amount (ح-س-ن): Their actions are balanced, appropriate, and aligned with divine guidance.
  
      Outcome:
  
          Allah Makes Their Path Easy (سَنُيَسِّرُهُۥ لِلْيُسْرَىٰ): Allah facilitates their journey toward goodness, success, and ease in both this life and the Hereafter.
  
          Ultimate Reward: They are promised the best reward (الْحُسْنَى), which is eternal happiness and closeness to Allah.

DAY 44: Leyl 1-7

• By the night when it covers, and the day when it shines! And by ˹the One˺ Who created male and female! Surely the ends you strive for are diverse. As for the one who is charitable, mindful ˹of Allah˺, and ˹firmly˺ believes in the finest reward, We shall smooth his way towards ease.

  The root ح-س-ن (ḥ-s-n) in Arabic carries a much deeper and more nuanced meaning than simply "beauty" or "goodness." It encompasses the idea of perfection, appropriateness, and excellence in every aspect—doing the right thing, at the right time, in the right amount, and in the right manner. This concept is holistic and goes beyond superficial beauty or goodness.

  بِالْحُسْنَى

  the Root ح-س-ن (ḥ-s-n):

• Core Meaning:

  • The root ح-س-ن fundamentally conveys the idea of perfection, appropriateness, and balance. It refers to something that is excellent in every way, not just aesthetically pleasing or morally good.

  • It implies harmony, precision, and suitability—doing or being something in a way that is perfectly aligned with its purpose and context.

• Examples of Usage in Arabic:

  • حَسَنٌ (ḥasan): This adjective means "good," "excellent," or "beautiful," but it also implies something that is well-suited, appropriate, and balanced. For example:

    • A حَسَنٌ action is one that is morally good, timely, and proportionate.

    • A حَسَنٌ object is not just beautiful but also functional and well-made.

  • إِحْسَان (iḥsān): This noun means "excellence" or "perfection in action." It is often translated as "doing what is beautiful" or "doing what is best," but it specifically refers to acting with precision, care, and appropriateness. For example:

    • In a hadith, the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) defined إِحْسَان as "to worship Allah as if you see Him, for if you do not see Him, He surely sees you." This reflects the idea of perfecting one's actions in both intention and execution.

  • تَحْسِين (taḥsīn): This refers to "improvement" or "making something better," but it also implies refining something to make it more appropriate, balanced, and excellent.

DAY 43: A'LA SUMMARY

•      Glorify and Praise Allah:
          The Surah begins and ends with the glorification of Allah, reminding believers to constantly acknowledge His greatness and supremacy.

          Allah is the Creator who fashioned everything with precision and purpose. This inspires believers to reflect on the signs of Allah in the universe.
  
      The Importance of the Qur'an:
          The Qur'an is a divine revelation, preserved and conveyed by the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). Believers are encouraged to recite, learn, and share it with others.

          Believers have a duty to remind others of Allah’s message, even if only a few benefit. Those who reject the truth will face severe consequences in the Hereafter.
  
      Purification of the Soul:
          True success lies in purifying one’s soul from sin and immorality. This is achieved through faith, good deeds, and adherence to Allah’s guidance.
  
      Establish Prayer and Remember Allah:
          Regular prayer and remembrance of Allah are essential for spiritual growth and success in both this life and the Hereafter.
  
      Prioritize the Hereafter:
          The Hereafter is far superior to this worldly life. Believers should focus on eternal rewards rather than being distracted by temporary pleasures.
  
      Unity of Prophethood:
          The message of Islam is consistent with the teachings of previous prophets and scriptures, such as those of Abraham and Moses. This reinforces the universality and continuity of Allah’s guidance.
  

DAY 42: A'LA 14-19

•  Successful indeed are those who purify themselves, remember the Name of their Lord, and pray. But you (deniers) prefer the life of this world, even though the Hereafter is far better and more lasting. Indeed this is (written) in the earlier divine scripts, the scripts of Ibrāhīm and Mūsā.
  (
      Success Through Purification: True success lies in purifying one’s soul and living a life of righteousness.
  
      Remembrance of Allah and Prayer: Regular remembrance of Allah and establishing prayer are essential for spiritual growth and success.
  
      Prioritizing the Hereafter: The Hereafter is far superior to this worldly life, and believers should focus on eternal rewards.
  
      Continuity of Revelation: The message of Islam is consistent with the teachings of previous prophets and scriptures.
  
  
      Purify Your Soul: Strive to cleanse your heart and actions from sin and negativity.
  
      Establish Prayer and Dhikr: Maintain a strong connection with Allah through regular prayer and remembrance.
  
      Focus on the Hereafter: Do not be deceived by the temporary pleasures of this world; invest in your eternal life.
  
      Recognize the Unity of Prophethood: Respect and believe in all the prophets and scriptures sent by Allah.
  
  These verses serve as a powerful reminder of the timeless and universal nature of Allah’s message.

DAY 41: A'LA 1-13

•  Glorify the Name of your Lord, the Most High, Who created and ˹perfectly˺ fashioned ˹all˺, who determined their destinies and guided them; and Who brings forth ˹green˺ pasture, then reduces it to dark debris. We will make you recite, then you will not forget, Except what Allāh should will. Indeed, He knows what is declared and what is hidden.  We shall show you the easy way. So ˹always˺ remind ˹with the Quran˺—˹even˺ if the reminder is beneficial ˹only to some˺. The one who fears (Allah) will observe the advice, but it will be ignored by the most wicked, who will burn in the greatest Fire, where they will not ˹be able to˺ live or die.
  (
      A mumin should recite, learn, study, and share the Qur'an with others.
  
      Some will benefit, while most may not, due to their own choices.
  
      Those who reject the truth will face severe consequences in the Hereafter.
  
      Allah, the Supreme Authority, will make the path easy for the mumin who strives sincerely in His cause.
  
  This understanding is deeply rooted in the Qur'an and the teachings of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). It serves as both a motivation and a reminder for believers to remain steadfast in their faith and efforts, trusting in Allah’s wisdom and mercy.

DAY 40: Takwir Summary

•    
  Allah’s oaths in the Quran are not because He needs to prove anything—His word is absolute truth. Rather, they are for our benefit:
      To emphasize the seriousness of the message.
      To connect with our human understanding.
      To challenge our arrogance and invite us to reflect.
      To reassure the believers of the truth of His promises.
      To highlight the signs of His creation and His power.
  
  Keep in mind the purpose of Allah’s oaths and the way He communicates with humanity to emphasize the truthfulness of the Hereafter and the divine message.
  
  The Reality of the Day of Judgment:
      The surah vividly describes the events of the Hereafter, reminding people of the ultimate accountability for their actions.
  
      The Truthfulness of the Prophet (peace be upon him):
      The surah defends the Prophet against accusations of madness or falsehood, affirming his role as a truthful messenger.
  
      The Divine Origin of the Quran:
      The Quran is not the words of Muhammad (peace be upon him) or a devil but a revelation from Allah, delivered by the Angel Jibreel.
  
      Free Will and Responsibility:
      Humans have the freedom to choose, but their choices must align with Allah’s will, and they will be held accountable for their actions.
  
      A Call to Reflection and Guidance:
      The surah challenges people to reflect on their lives, recognize the truth, and follow the guidance of the Quran.

For the disbelievers, it was a stern warning and an invitation to reconsider their stance. And for all of humanity, it remains a timeless call to reflect on the purpose of life, the reality of the Hereafter, and the importance of following Allah’s guidance.

DAY 39: Takwir 23-29

•  And he did see that ˹angel˺ on the clear horizon, He does not withhold what is revealed to him from beyond. And this ˹Quran˺ is not the word of an outcast satan (devil). So where are you then heading? It is nothing else but a message of advice for all people, for the benefit of any one from among you who intends to go straight. But you will only wish to do so by the will of God, the Lord of all worlds.

      Accept Outcomes: Trust that whatever happens is by Allah’s will and is ultimately for your good, even if you don’t understand it immediately.
  
      Take Responsibility: Acknowledge that your choices have consequences and strive to make decisions that please Allah.
  
  
  The concept of free will in Islam is a balance between human responsibility and divine sovereignty. We have the freedom to choose, but our choices must align with Allah’s will if we want to achieve true success. Allah does not force anyone to believe or obey, but He has made the truth clear and provided guidance for those who seek it. Ultimately, everything happens according to Allah’s will, and our role is to strive to align our will with His.
  
  This understanding is both empowering and humbling. It reminds us of our responsibility to make good choices while also trusting in Allah’s wisdom and plan. As believers, we should strive to use our free will in ways that bring us closer to Allah and fulfill our purpose in this life.
  
  As Surah At-Takwir concludes, the Quran is a reminder for those who choose to follow the straight path, and its message is a call to align our will with the will of the Lord of the worlds.

DAY 38: Takwir 15-22

•  So I swear by the receding stars, those that run [their courses] and disappear, and the night as it falls , and the day as it breaks! Indeed, this ˹Quran˺ is the Word of ˹Allah delivered by Gabriel,˺ a noble messenger-angel, [Who is] possessed of power and with the Owner of the Throne, secure [in position], the one obeyed there,  and trusted. And your fellow man is not insane.
  (
  During the early Meccan period, the Prophet (peace be upon him) faced intense opposition, mockery, and rejection. The disbelievers dismissed the Quran as the ramblings of a madman or the fabrications of a poet. These verses were revealed to:
  
      Reassure the Prophet (peace be upon him) that he was not insane and that his message was true.
  
      Challenge the disbelievers to reflect on the signs of Allah’s creation and the seriousness of the message.
  
      Strengthen the believers by affirming the divine origin of the Quran and the trustworthiness of its delivery.
  
  These verses serve as a powerful reminder of the Quran’s divine origin and the truthfulness of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). They refute the accusations of the disbelievers, affirm the reliability of the message, and call people to reflect on the signs of Allah’s creation. For the early Muslims, these verses were a source of reassurance and strength; for the disbelievers, they were a stern warning and an invitation to reconsider their rejection of the truth.

DAY 37: Takwir 1-14

•  When the sun is put out, and when the stars fall down, and when the mountains are blown away, and when pregnant camels are left untended, and when wild beasts are gathered together, and when the seas are set on fire, And when souls are reunited, and when baby girls, buried alive, are asked for what crime they were put to death, and when the records ˹of deeds˺ are laid open, and when the sky is stripped away, And when Hellfire is set ablaze , And when Paradise is brought near, then everyone will know what he (or she) has put forward.

  Surah At-Takwir (81) is indeed one of the earliest surahs revealed in Mecca, and it is widely considered to be the 6th or 7th surah in the chronological order of revelation. At this stage, Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) was facing significant resistance, rejection, and mockery from the Quraysh and other Meccan polytheists. They dismissed his message, ridiculed the concept of resurrection and the Day of Judgment, and were deeply entrenched in their idolatry and worldly pursuits.
  
  In this context, Surah At-Takwir serves as a powerful and vivid depiction of the Day of Judgment, designed to shake the hearts of those who were opposing the message of Islam. The surah uses intense, dramatic imagery to convey the magnitude of that day and to remind people of the ultimate reality of divine accountability.
  
  
  Surah At-Takwir, with its intense and vivid imagery, was perfectly suited to the context of early Meccan revelation. It challenged the arrogance and skepticism of the Quraysh, warned them of the consequences of their actions, and called them to reflect on the reality of the Hereafter. At the same time, it provided comfort and reassurance to the Prophet (peace be upon him) and the early Muslims, reminding them that justice would ultimately prevail.

•  So, no intercessor’s plea will benefit them now. What is the matter with them? Why do they turn away from the warning, as if they were wild donkeys, fleeing from a lion? In fact, each one of them wishes to be given a ˹personal˺ letter ˹from Allah˺ for all ˹to read˺ . But no! In fact, they do not fear the Hereafter. But, truly this is a reminder. Then whoever wills will take advice from it. But they cannot do so unless Allah wills.  He is the Lord of righteousness and piety, and the Lord of forgiveness.

God will forgive them and reward them with much more than they earned) who will be in Gardens, asking one another; about the disbelieving criminals, (and convey the answers they give): “What drove you to Hell?”  They will reply, “We were not of those who prayed, nor did we feed the needy. We used to indulge ˹in falsehood˺ along with others, and deny the Day of Judgment, until the Certain End came upon us“

•  We have appointed none but angels as the keepers of the Fire, and We have not made their number but as a trial for the disbelievers so that  the People of the Book will be convinced and the believers' faith will increase,  and neither  the People of the Book nor the believers will fall into any doubt. As for those in whose hearts there is a sickness as well as the disbelievers, they will say: “What does Allah intend by this example?” Thus Allah lets go astray whomever He wills, and leads to the right path whomever He wills. And none knows the hosts of your Lord but He. And this (description of Hell) is only a reminder to humanity.

DAY 28: Muddathir 24-30

•  And said, "This is not but magic imitated [from others]. This is no more than the word of a human being. Soon I will burn him in Hell! And what will make you realize what Hell is? It lets nothing remain and leaves nothing [unburned], and it scorches the skin. It is overseen by nineteen ˹keepers˺ in charge.

Then he re-contemplated ˹in frustration˺, then he frowned and scowled, then turned his back ˹on the truth˺ and acted arrogantly.
