DAY 428: Mulk 1 - 11

•  Glorious is the One in whose hand is the Kingdom (of the whole universe), and He is powerful over every thing, the One who created death and life, so that He may test you as to which of you is better in his deeds. And He is the All-Mighty, the Most-Forgiving, ˹He is the One˺ Who created seven heavens, one above the other. You will never see any imperfection in the creation of the Most Compassionate. So look again: do you see any flaws? Then look again and again—your sight will return frustrated and weary. And indeed, We adorned the lowest heaven with ˹stars like˺ lamps, and made them ˹as missiles˺ for stoning ˹eavesdropping˺ devils, for whom We have also prepared the torment of the Blaze. Those who disbelieve in their Lord will suffer the punishment of Hell. What an evil destination! When they are tossed into it, they will hear its roaring as it boils over, almost bursting in fury. Every time a group is cast into it, its keepers will ask them, “Did a warner not come to you?” They will reply, “Yes, a warner did come to us, but we denied and said, ‘Allah has revealed nothing. You are extremely astray.’” And they will lament, “If only we had listened and reasoned, we would not be among the residents of the Blaze!” And so they will confess their sins. So away with the residents of the Blaze!

   In essence, the first part of Surah Al-Mulk calls humanity to open their eyes, reflect on the universe, understand their purpose, and heed the warning before it is too late, turning to the One who is both Almighty and All-Forgiving.  
     
      God's Absolute Sovereignty (v.1): The surah begins by establishing God's complete control over all existence.
      Purpose of Life (v.2): Our existence is a deliberate and meaningful test to see who performs the best deeds.
      Perfection of Creation (v.3-4): The flawless universe is a sign of God's perfection and an invitation to contemplate and believe.
      Cosmic Order and Protection (v.5): The heavens are not just beautiful but also serve a purpose in the unseen world.
      The Reality of Hell and Regret (v.6-11): A vivid depiction of the afterlife serves as a warning. The dialogue emphasizes that the path to Hell is paved with the rejection of prophets and a failure to use one's intellect and senses to recognize the truth.  
   
     Life is a deliberate test from the All-Powerful God, who created a flawless universe as a sign, so use your intellect to recognize the truth and do good deeds before facing the inevitable consequences of denial.
