DAY 557: Nisa 127-134

•  They ask you regarding women. Say, “It is Allah Who instructs you regarding them. Instruction has ˹already˺ been revealed in the Book concerning the orphan women you deprive of their due rights but still wish to marry, also helpless children, as well as standing up for orphans’ rights. And whatever good you do is certainly well known to Allah.” If a woman fears indifference or neglect from her husband, there is no blame on either of them if they seek ˹fair˺ settlement, which is best. Humans are ever inclined to selfishness. But if you are gracious and mindful ˹of Allah˺, surely Allah is All-Aware of what you do. You will never be able to maintain ˹emotional˺ justice between your wives—no matter how keen you are. So do not totally incline towards one leaving the other in suspense. And if you do what is right and are mindful ˹of Allah˺, surely Allah is All-Forgiving, Most Merciful. But if they choose to separate, Allah will enrich both of them from His bounties. And Allah is Ever-Bountiful, All-Wise. To Allah ˹alone˺ belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth. Indeed, We have commanded those given the Scripture before you, as well as you, to be mindful of Allah. But if you disobey, then ˹know that˺ to Allah belongs whatever is in the heavens and the earth. And Allah is Self-Sufficient, Praiseworthy. To Allah ˹alone˺ belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth. And Allah is sufficient as a Trustee of Affairs. If it is His Will, He can remove you altogether, O humanity, and replace you with others. And Allah is Most Capable to do so. Whoever desires the reward of this world, then ˹let them know that˺ with Allah are the rewards of this world and the Hereafter. And Allah is All-Hearing, All-Seeing.

  Verses 1–126 laid down the complete system for family, society, marriage, justice, hypocrisy, warfare, and theology. Verses 127–134 provide the final social and spiritual reminders: protect women and orphans, reconcile marital disputes with fairness, trust God for provision, remember that everything belongs to Him, and never let worldly desires corrupt your pursuit of the Hereafter. This is the final ethical grounding before the surah moves toward its concluding warnings and affirmations
  
  127    Give orphan girls their rights—don't exploit or marry them for their wealth    Justice for the vulnerable is commanded; God sees your actions
  128    Marital disputes should be resolved through mutual settlement; settlement is best    Greed is the enemy of peace; God sees your treatment of your spouse
  129    Emotional equality between wives is impossible—but justice in treatment is required; don't leave a wife in limbo    You can't control your feelings, but you can control your actions
  130    If separation happens, God will enrich both parties    Divorce is allowed; trust God for provision afterward
  131    Everything belongs to God; He commanded taqwa to all nations    God doesn't need you—your faith is for your own good
  132    God is sufficient as the Disposer of Affairs    Trust in God alone—He is enough
  133    God can replace humanity if He wills    Be humble—God doesn't need any nation or people
  134    God controls both worldly and Hereafter rewards; seek from Him    Don't chase the world at the expense of the Hereafter
  
  Be just and compassionate with women and orphans, never exploit them, reconcile marital disputes with fairness, trust God for provision after divorce, fear Allah as He commanded all nations, remember that everything belongs to God and He is sufficient for all your affairs, and never let the love of this world distract you from seeking the Hereafter.
