DAY 544: Nisa 26 -32

•  It is Allah’s Will to make things clear to you, guide you to the ˹noble˺ ways of those before you, and turn to you in mercy. For Allah is All-Knowing, All-Wise. And it is Allah’s Will to turn to you in grace, but those who follow their desires wish to see you deviate entirely ˹from Allah’s Way˺. And it is Allah’s Will to lighten your burdens, for humankind was created weak. O believers! Do not devour one another’s wealth illegally, but rather trade by mutual consent. And do not kill ˹each other or˺ yourselves. Surely Allah is ever Merciful to you. And whoever does this sinfully and unjustly, We will burn them in the Fire. That is easy for Allah. If you avoid the major sins forbidden to you, We will absolve you of your ˹lesser˺ misdeeds and admit you into a place of honour. And do not crave what Allah has given some of you over others. Men will be rewarded according to their deeds and women ˹equally˺ according to theirs. Rather, ask Allah for His bounties. Surely Allah has ˹perfect˺ knowledge of all things.

  This block is the philosophical and spiritual backbone of everything that came before. If verses 1-6 were about protecting the vulnerable, 7-14 about inheritance justice, and 15-25 about sexual boundaries and marriage—then 26-32 are about the why behind it all.

  God's rules are mercy, not burden—avoid the big sins, don't envy what others have, and trust that He knows your weakness and wants to forgive you

  Why did God give all these detailed rules about orphans, women, inheritance, and marriage?
  
      Because He wants to make things clear to you (v26). He's not hiding the playbook. He's laying it all out so you have no excuse.
  
  Why are the rules so strict? Is God trying to make life miserable?
  
      No—He wants to lighten your burden (v28). The rules are actually protective. They save you from the chaos of societies that have no rules (where orphans get robbed, women get inherited like property, and sexual boundaries don't exist).
  
  Why does God care so much about wealth and marriage?
  
      Because you were created weak (v28). You're prone to greed, lust, jealousy, and injustice. The rules are guardrails to keep you from crashing.
  
  What if you mess up? What if you break these rules?
  
      Repentance is always open (v26-27). God wants to accept your repentance. He's not waiting to punish you—He's waiting for you to turn back.
  
  What's the absolute minimum you must avoid?
  
      The major sins (v31)—which include the very things mentioned in previous verses: consuming orphans' wealth (v2, v10), unjustly taking what isn't yours (v29), sexual misconduct (v15-16), and slandering innocent women (which comes later in v23-24).
  
  Why can't you just take what others have (inheritance, spouses, wealth)?
  
      Because envy destroys gratitude (v32). Instead of coveting what God gave someone else, ask Him for your own share. This directly ties back to the inheritance laws in v7-14—everyone gets their own determined share, so stop looking at your neighbor's plate.
