DAY 518: Today's dua

  •  

    O Allah, Ever-Living, Self-Sustaining,

    Grant me the patience You love,
    the trust You love,
    the sincerity You love,
    and the goodness You love.

    Make me among those who spend in ease and hardship,
    who swallow anger and pardon people,
    whose feet stay firm when the ground shakes.

    Let me not chase what perishes,
    nor cling to what cannot save me.
    Give me a heart that submits,
    a tongue that seeks forgiveness before dawn,
    and a soul that returns to You in peace.

    Āmīn.
