- Give them the example of the worldly life; it is like water We sent down
from the sky, then the vegetation of the earth was mingled with it, and
then it turned into chaff that is blown by the winds, and Allah is
powerful over everything. Wealth and children are the adornment of this worldly life, but the
everlasting good deeds are far better with your Lord in reward and in
hope. And (visualize) the Day when We will make mountains move, and you will
see the earth fully exposed, and We shall gather them together, so as
not to leave a single one of them. And they shall be presented lined-up before your Lord. (It will be said
to them,) “Lo! You have come to Us just as We had created you for the
first time, while you claimed that We would not make any appointed time
for you.” And the book (of deeds) will be placed (before them), then you will see
the guilty people scared of its contents and saying, “Woe to us! What a
book is this! It has missed nothing, minor or major, but has taken it
into account.” Thus they will find whatever they did present before
them, and your Lord will not wrong anyone.

The Culmination of All Warnings: The stories of the Cave and the Gardens were microcosms of divine justice. This section reveals the macrocosm—the universal scale where all such accounts are finally settled.
Vanity of Worldly Measures vs. Reality of Deeds: Wealth and children (zeenah) are gone. Only Al-Bāqiyāt al-Ṣāliḥāt (enduring good deeds) have any currency on this Day.
The Personal, Inescapable Record: This destroys the notion of getting away with anything. The Kitāb is the ultimate proof of Allah's perfect knowledge and justice, answering the question "Who will know?" from the earlier stories.
These verses deliver the ultimate reality check: the entire worldly life is as fleeting as rain-fed vegetation that turns to dust, rendering its adornments worthless on the Day when all humanity stands exposed before Allah to confront their perfectly recorded deeds, establishing with absolute certainty that only righteous acts endure and divine justice leaves no soul wronged.
