- Indeed, those who disbelieve will be addressed, "The hatred of Allāh for
you was [even] greater than your hatred of yourselves [this Day in
Hell] when you were invited to faith, but you disbelieved [i.e.,
refused]." They will say, “Our Lord, You gave us death twice and You gave us life
twice. Now we confess our sins. So, is there any way to come out of
here?” ˹They will be told,˺ “˹No!˺ This is because when Allah alone was
invoked, you (firmly) disbelieved. But when others were associated
with Him ˹in worship˺, you ˹readily˺ believed. So ˹Today˺ judgment
belongs to Allah ˹alone˺—the Most High, All-Great.” He is the One Who shows you His signs and sends down ˹rain as˺ a
provision for you from the sky. ˹But˺ none will be mindful except those
who turn ˹to Him˺. So, worship Allah, making your submission exclusive for Him, even though the disbelievers dislike (it). ˹He is˺ Highly Exalted in rank, Lord of the Throne. He sends down the
revelation by His command to whoever He wills of His servants to warn
˹all˺ of the Day of Meeting— the Day all will appear ˹before Allah˺. Nothing about them will be
hidden from Him. ˹He will ask,˺ “Who does all authority belong to this
Day? To Allah—the One, the Supreme! Today every soul will be rewarded for what it has done. No injustice Today! Surely Allah is swift in reckoning.” Warn them ˹O Prophet˺ of the approaching Day when the hearts will jump
into the throats, suppressing distress. The wrongdoers will have neither
a close friend nor intercessor to be heard. Allah ˹even˺ knows the sly glances of the eyes and whatever the hearts conceal. And Allah judges with the truth, while those ˹idols˺ they invoke besides
Him cannot judge at all. Indeed, Allah ˹alone˺ is the All-Hearing,
All-Seeing.

The Reckoning of Arrogance: The disbelievers' worldly arrogance turns into utter humiliation and despair on the Day of Judgment.
The Finality of Choice: Their punishment is the direct result of their choice to reject Tawhid and embrace Shirk.
The Call to Sincere Worship: In response to Allah's signs, humanity is called to worship Him with pure sincerity, regardless of opposition.
Absolute Divine Sovereignty: On the Day of Judgment, all dominion and authority are undeniably Allah's alone.
Perfect, Personal Justice: Every soul is repaid exactly for its deeds without the slightest injustice, based on Allah's all-encompassing knowledge of both outward actions and secret intentions.
The Utter Failure of False Gods: All beings worshipped besides Allah are proven powerless, offering no friendship or intercession.
Verses depict the disbelievers' ultimate humiliation and confession on Judgment Day, contrasting it with a call to sincere worship, establishing that Allah alone—with His perfect, all-knowing justice—will judge every soul without the slightest injustice, rendering all false gods powerless.
