Theory (The "Why") -> Evidence (The "What Happened") -> Instruction (The "What To Do Now")
Surah Hud presents a complete cosmic narrative:
---it begins by declaring that the purpose of life is a test to reveal our true character through our deeds,لِيَبْلُوَكُمْ أَيُّكُمْ أَحْسَنُ عَمَلًا
---guided by the Quran.
---It then proves this by recounting the destruction of nation after nation (Nuh, Hud, Salih, Lut, Shu'ayb) who failed this test by prioritizing arrogance, power, pleasure, and wealth over divine guidance, while the prophets and believers who demonstrated patience and reliance on Allah were saved.
---The surah culminates by commanding believers to embody the lesson of these stories:
----to be steadfast on the straight path,
----actively uphold justice,
----and place their ultimate trust entirely in Allah,
to whom all matters return.وَإِلَيْهِ يُرْجَعُ الأَمْرُ كُلُّهُ
--Life is a divine test to manifest your true self;
--the Quran is your guide,
--the stories of ruined nations are your warning,
--and steadfast worship and complete reliance on Allah are your only path to salvation.
