- Now, ˹simply˺ because he has been blessed with ˹abundant˺ wealth and children, When Our verses are recited to him, he says, “(These are) the tales of the ancient people”. We will soon mark him on the nose.

Danger of Arrogance and Materialism:
Wealth and children are blessings from Allah, but they can become a test if they lead to arrogance, pride, or a sense of self-sufficiency.
Believers are reminded to remain humble and grateful, recognizing that all blessings come from Allah and should be used in ways that please Him.
Mockery of the Truth:
Dismissing the signs of Allah and mocking His message is a grave sin. It reflects a hardened heart and a refusal to reflect on the truth.
Believers should avoid such attitudes and instead approach the Quran and the teachings of Islam with sincerity and an open heart.
Consequences of Rejection:
The "branding" mentioned in verse 16 symbolizes the lasting disgrace and punishment that await those who arrogantly reject the truth.
This serves as a warning to all who persist in disbelief and moral corruption, reminding them that their actions will have consequences.
