DAY 4: Surah Al-Alaq 15-19

  • But no! If he does not desist, We will certainly drag him by the forelock,a lying, sinful forelock. So let him call his supporters for help. We will call the soldiers of the Hell. So! Never obey him! Rather, ˹continue to˺ prostrate and try to come close to Allah(cc).

        Severe Warning to Oppressors:

            These verses deliver a strong warning to those who oppose the truth and hinder others from worshiping Allah. Their arrogance and wrongdoing will lead to severe punishment.

        Allah’s Ultimate Power:

            No matter how powerful or influential the oppressor may seem, they are no match for Allah’s might. The mention of the Zabaniyah (angels of Hell) underscores Allah’s absolute authority.

        A Call to Steadfastness:

            Believers are instructed not to obey the oppressor but to remain steadfast in their worship and devotion to Allah. This is a reminder to prioritize faith over worldly pressures.

        The Importance of Prostration:

            Prostration (sujud) is a symbol of humility, submission, and closeness to Allah. It is the ultimate act of worship and a means of drawing near to Him.


    Practical Lessons

        Avoid Oppression: Do not hinder others from worshiping Allah or following the truth. Oppression leads to severe consequences.

        Trust in Allah’s Power: No matter how powerful the oppressors may seem, Allah’s power is far greater. Trust in His justice and protection.

        Remain Steadfast: In the face of opposition, remain steadfast in your faith and devotion to Allah. Prostrate and draw near to Him through worship.

        Reflect on Accountability: Remember that everyone will be held accountable for their actions. Live a life of righteousness and humility.
