DAY 224: Naml 54-58

•  And ˹remember˺ Lot, when he rebuked ˹the men of˺ his people, “Do you commit that shameful deed while you can see ˹one another˺? Do you really lust after men instead of women? In fact, you are ˹only˺ a people acting ignorantly.” But his people’s only response was to say, “Expel Lot’s followers from your land! They are a people  who want to be clean and pure!” So We delivered him and his family, except his wife. We had destined her to be one of the doomed. And We poured upon them a rain ˹of brimstone˺. How evil was the rain of those who had been warned!

      Moral Boundaries & Natural Order
          Lut’s people defied the fitrah (natural law)—homosexuality is condemned as a corruption of creation.
          Modern reflection: Societies that normalize such acts invite divine wrath.
      Intolerance Toward the Righteous
          The wicked expel the morally upright (today: cancel culture, persecution of believers).
      Divine Justice is Inevitable
          Punishment came after clear warnings—no one is destroyed without a chance to repent.
      Family Can’t Save You
          Lut’s wife chose complicity and shared the fate of the disbelievers.
          
    When societies normalize moral corruption and reject divine guidance, their destruction—no matter how prosperous they seem—is inevitable and just.
